A Little About Me...

With over 20 years in the mortgage industry, Shelly Heimer has built a successful career around serving her clients as well as her community. Recently, Shelly was recognized in the top 1% within C2 Financial Corporation and awarded as the 2020 Top Producer, 2020 ‘Scotsman Guide’ Top Originator and 2020 Top Women Originator. Her attention to detail, adaptability and flexibility through industry changes and unique client needs, Shelly patiently and confidently navigates her clients throughout the home loan process.

After honorably serving her country in the United States Army as a Communications Specialist, Shelly brought her dedication to service and work ethic into launching her own mortgage brokerage company, H5 Financial in 2017. Branded as “Your Hometown Lender,” Shelly has built a reputation around her military service to honor others, provide service with integrity and deliver a lending experience exceeding expectations. She leads a successful team which has provided personalized mortgage lending services to over 530 families within southern California. H5 Financial as a branch of the C2 Financial family, provides nationally recognized, A+ BBB mortgage broker services to her clients.

Shelly has a positive influence both as a leader as well as through her philanthropic endeavors and believes that success should be shared and giving back to the community must be a priority. Shelly joined the Soroptimist International organization of Ramona because she believes in their value of women serving to improve the lives of women and girls in both local communities as well as around the world. With her enthusiasm and positive attitude, Shelly became the youngest President in the Ramona chapter from 2009-2011 and was successful in improving the diversity of the charter by encouraging younger women entrepreneurs in joining this exclusive sorority.

In 2014, Shelly partnered with the Friends of Ramona Unified Schools (FORUS) non-profit organization whose purpose is to fill financial gaps for health and safety projects on Ramona school campuses. Shelly and her H5 Financial team has held numerous fundraising events raising over $60,000 in aid; additionally, with each mortgage loan closed, Shelly donates a percentage of her earnings where her total contributions exceed $100,000! In addition to FORUS, Shelly also gives scholarships to High School students and in 2021 planned and led a High School Senior Prom for three Ramona schools when the district was unable to due to COVID restrictions.

Shelly and her H5 Financial’s philanthropy also extends to Veterans and families in need by adopting families who have experienced tremendous loss or fallen on hard times. She brings joy to these families by providing meals over both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays as well as providing gifts and financial blessings to ease the strain. Shelly has been proudly married to Doug Heimer for 19 years and they have three wonderful daughters, Karlie (17) and twins Cadence and Reagan (15).
